TRAINING

Basic Training

The BSMA has the facilities to offer training for the complete beginner to the expert rider. We have access to a facility near Gloucester where we can offer complete basic training or coaching in a safe environment, either on a one to one basis or in small groups.

For beginners that would like to have a go before they invest in their own equipment we can provide everything that you need, including a bike and clothing. If you have already invested but want some basic training before you go to a track and have to go out as part of a large group, then we can offer that as well. All our training facilities are fully insured.

Coaching

We can also offer coaching facilities for the more experienced rider who wishes to improve their skills on the track. This can be done at our facility or at any suitable track, in groups or as one to one training. Whether you just want to go faster or need help in specific areas, we can help.

Expert Training

For those riders that are getting to the top level, we have the facilities to offer help and advice in honing riding skills, training techniques, diet and mental focus.

From time to time we offer special facilities for selected riders.

Costs

2hrs at our facility £65.00 per rider, using your equipment. 4Hrs £120.00
2hrs at our facility £85.00 per rider, using our equipment. 4hrs £150.00
If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity but do not want to travel to Gloucester than we can come to a track near you but we will have to charge our travelling expenses on top of the above fees.

Try Out Days

In conjunction with Suzuki GB we have the use of an inflatable unit which we can transport to any location and offer try outs for larger groups, this is aimed at schools or other groups that would like to promote the sport in a safe and well managed environment.

We can attend school assemblies or other group meetings, give a short talk on the sport and how to get involved, where to buy equipment etc. and give an idea of the costs involved. We will also explain what the BSMA is and what it provides for the riders and affiliated clubs.

We can then offer a ride for those that are interested. Everything is provided all we need is the space to erect the unit.

If you run a club that is involved in motocross, why not try it at one of your meetings and encourage new riders into the sport.
